List of Countries by Projected GDP Growth

With a projected gdp growth rate of 74.40% in 2023, Macao SAR is the fastest growing economy in the world. Macao SAR is followed by Guyana (38.43) and Libya (12.55%). Only these three countries have a gdp growth rate above 10%, and 18 have a growth rate above 6%.Sudan has the lowest growth, with a 18.3% contraction as three economies have seen a contraction below 5% or more, including Equatorial Guinea and Lebanon.

Out of 195 economies, 21 economies have seen a negative growth rate in 2023. These 21 economies account for almost 7.78% of the world economy, with an aggregate total of $7.79 trillion. Out of them, eight are located in Asia and seven are in Europe continent, two each in Africa, North America and South America. In Europe, All Oceanian economies will expand their economy.

Germany is the only trillion-dollar economy with a negative gdp growth rate, followed by United Kingdom with the 2nd best figure of 0.48%. On the other hand, India has a 6.33% expansion in its trillion-dollar economy.

Luxembourg, Finland, Sweden and Germany has a negative growth rate among economies having gdp per capita above $50k.

For the year 2022, 20 economies are projected to experience a negative growth rate. The top five growing economies in 2022 are Guyana, Fiji, Cabo Verde, St. Lucia, and The Bahamas.
