According to the IMF World Economic Outlook (October 2024), China's nominal GDP in 2024 is projected to be around $18,273 billion at current prices. Based on PPP, China's GDP in 2024 is forecast at 37,072 billion international dollars.

China has the largest economy by GDP (nominal) and GDP (PPP) in Asia, the second-largest by nominal GDP in the world, and the largest by GDP (PPP).
