As per the report of the Technical Group by the National Commission, the population of Sikkim is projected to be 697,000, or 697k, or 6.97 lakh, as of July 1, 2023. Sikkim is the least populous state in India. Sikkim’s population is projected to reach 7.60 lakh in 2036.
The size of the population of Sikkim is equivalent to that of China, Macao SAR, which ranks 168th in the world.
In 20234, the sex ratio of the total population in Sikkim will be 111.212 males per 100 females. There are 367,000, or 367k, or 3.67 lakh, males and 330,000, or 330k, or 3.30 lakh, females in Sikkim. Sikkim has 37,000, or 37k, more males than females.
