The Northern American region accounts for 63% of the Asian population as it hosts the United States, the third-most populous country in the world. Thirty percent of the North American population lives in Central America and 7.25 percent in the Caribbean.

North America has the 3rd highest population growth rate of 0.70% for 2024, below Africa and Oceania. Central America is the fastest-growing subregion in North America, followed by Northern America. All North American subregions have a positive population growth rate until 2044.

North America will add 4.26 million people in 2024. The net increase in the per year peaked in 1992, with almost 6.29 million.
